Is a DomainWorth appraisal a guaranteed sale price?
No. Domain names are illiquid negotiated assets. DomainWorth provides modeled ranges and evidence, not a guarantee that a buyer will appear at a particular price or time.
Why show a range instead of one number?
Because wholesale, ordinary end-user retail and strategic-buyer value are different contexts. A single number hides that uncertainty.
Does DomainWorth fabricate comparable sales?
No. The completed-sales explorer and comp layer only use records loaded into the local comps dataset.
What does confidence mean?
Evidence coverage. It does not mean probability that the domain sells.
Can I analyze a whole portfolio?
Yes. The portfolio tool accepts up to 5,000 names and can preserve acquisition cost, renewal cost, expiry and registrar metadata from CSV input.
Are my shortlists and appraisal history uploaded?
Shortlist and appraisal-history features use browser localStorage. API requests still reach the DomainWorth server to perform analysis.
Does DomainWorth check trademarks?
No automated score should replace legal review. Trademark constraints are outside the core valuation engine and should be reviewed independently.
Can I turn off live evidence?
Yes. Intrinsic-only mode avoids public website/DNS/RDAP evidence calls for the appraisal.
Can I use the API?
Yes. The API page documents valuation, deal, compare, bulk and completed-sales endpoints.
